I wanted to use material that I was familiar with, but hadn’t used in this particular way. I went about creating this emergent structure using equipment in my room, particularly my bed, and instruments I’d normally use to make bracelets. During the process I struggled a bit with finding the proper angles for each of the ropes that would allow each to stand out in its on way; although I managed to do so by presenting different angles from the same source (essentially using the wall as a prism and the yarn and beads as rays of light). I wanted to create something cinematic with my video and believe I achieved so with the music included. Understanding Three Dimensions Organization: (perception - grouping) the differences we see or contrasts, (proximity) directional alignment of parts unifies it into a simpler whole, (resemblance) between
