In my experience this pathway leads into the water that enters into an under ground world, this world is a safe haven for our fairies and an area that the children should protect from the dragons with their stick wands.
The sound of the creek running was different depending on what was in the water, if the water was running around a rock it was louder than if it was running uninterrupted.
This reminds me of the video in session 2 - R. Murray Schafer: Listen. In this video he says if you listen carefully your life is enhanced, in this experience i believe when i stopped and listened carefully as i walked up and down the creek i could hear the different sounds created from the water and the different tones the running water made.

Mushrooms grow when the conditions are Humid and Damp and with the recent flooding and warm weather it was perfect conditions for there to be heaps of mushrooms growing in the grass reserve. Seeing the mushrooms in the field reminded me of a video in session 2 -DJUKI MALA 'WRONG SKIN" - SINGING IN THE RAIN.
This dance is performed by a group called Djuki Mala meaning 'bird mob'. Birds carry seeds and plants from one place to another and drop the seeds on their flight which helps to create the plant life we see around us.

In my experience i believe that the mushrooms that i found throughout the field were a representation of a place where the fairies are born before they enter into the underground world. Somewhere the fairies could be safe from the dragons until they are old enough to fly to the brick walkway where they can then enter the water to get into the underground world.

As i walked through the reserve under my feet i could hear the cracking of the sticks that had fallen from the trees above. These sticks are a representation of a magical wand that the children can use to protect the fairies from the dragons, using their imagination and their magical powers to help the fairies get to their safe underworld.

This relates to unit content session 3, The Hundred languages - A makers mindset by Loris Malaguzzi.
There are many ways that children are able to symbolise communication this can be done through creative thinking, imagination and expressive thoughts.

As i listen and watch my surroundings, i noticed the leaves swaying from side to side and in a swirling kind of motion on the trees, the movements prompted me to reflect back to session 2 the 'Bangarra education resources video- The Mutton bird'.

The dancers were hanging upside down using their Gross motor skills, Coordination to be able to dance in sync with their peers and their creativity to tell a story through dance. They used big movements in a calm soft manner which was backed with soft calm instrumental which supported the story they were telling.
The calmness of the sound of the wind and the soft manner in which the leaves swayed in the wind reminded me of this video.

This Reserve is located behind my childhood home in Romsey and is somewhere i spent a-lot of time growing up, i have fond memories of all the different imaginative games i would play with my friends, the trees i would climb and the exploring we would do.

I often visit and walk through this area with my mum and daughter. My 2 year old daughter loves exploring the area, spotting and listening to the native birds and collecting artefacts with her Nanny.
When walking through the reserve i could hear the crunching of the rock beneath my feet, the traffic in the distance, the birds chirping and rustling in the leaves and the running of the creek water. It wasn't until i stopped and listened closer that i could hear children laughing, the trees swaying in the wind, the vibrations of construction happening near by, the frogs croaking and sticks cracking as i walked through the grass.
The area smelt of fires burning and fresh rain, a smell that reminded me of my childhood and the camp trips we would go on, spending so much time out in nature learning about the world around me.

This arch way between the two trees is what i believe to be the home of the dragons, this is an area forbidden for any of the fairy protectors or the dragon slayers.
As the wind blew the leaves from the trees rustled together swaying in the wind, the harder the wind blew the louder the noise of rustling was. This tree is home for birds that were tweeting away flying from the tree to the ground then back to safety in this tree, as i sat there listening and watching i felt more connected to land and the living creatures. This reminds me of the video in Session 1- Dadirri, She says in this video 'to listen deeply is to connect'.
