Siglo XII, nueva arquitectura, 140 catedrales góticas (de la clase burguesa de la Baja Edad Media), todo era distinto, en la entrada había figuras con profetas con rostros expresivos, muy naturalistas, con vital corpulencia, más independientes de la pared, ya no había demonios. 
Cristo ya no te veía feo ni te juzgaba (bueno, en las imágenes), ahora tenía gesto agradable, te daba una cálida bienvenida.
