Stanley Yelnats was sentenced to jail but he could instead go to camp green lake. He was forced to dig holes and so was everybody else who was there. So shortly after arrival he was shown to his tent and got to digging the next day. After a while he got a nickname and found something which he had to give to X-ray due to a deal that was made. When something is found it must be turned into the warden for a day off if she says so. After a while we are told he story's of Stanley's dirty-rotten-no-good-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather and Kissin Kate Barlow. Soon enough zero goes missing, his records and files are deleted and Stanley finds him under a boat far away from camp, Stanley and zero go up the mountain and find water. They went back to camp shortly after getting up the mountain but got caught, Became stuck in holes with yellow spotted lizards. Stanley's lawyer comes and he and zero get to go home, camp green lake shuts down and the warden and Mr. Sir were arrested. The lake also got rain for the first time in one hundred years.

In the rising action zero has his records and files deleted because he had ran away from camp green lake which came back to bite the person who deleted the files (Mr. Sir and the warden). In the climax Stanley carried zero up the mountain that is because zero kept falling to the ground in agony due to his stomach hurting but he couldn't get up the mountain by himself. In the falling actions The boys at camp green lake were released because camp green lake was closing. In the end the warden and Mr. sir got arrested and camp green lake got rain for the first time in one hundred years.

Those sent to camp green lake must dig holes as punishment, Stanley finds a Kate Barlow lipstick tube and is forced to give it to x-ray, they dig around his hole an find nothing, zero hit Mr. Pendanski in the face with a shovel and went missing, files erased.

Got caught, Stanley's lawyer came and Stanley and zero didn't get bitten, got out of hole safely, suitcase has Stanley's name on it. all boys at camp green lake were sent home, it rained for the first time in one hundred years, Mr. sir and warden arrested.

Stanley found zero and carried him up the mountain to the big thumb, went back to camp green lake for the KB hidden treasure, got stuck in holes with yellow spotted lizards.

I think this was an interesting book and i liked the boo and i might read it again eventually.

I liked the part when the warden got arrested because she got what she deserved.
