Giving each group of students(5) the pictures and ask them to ad as much as they can adjectives in 0ne minute .Then exchange their papers or hang them in the wall Then do a walk gallery to see what other groups say about the pictures . Finally conduct a story or imitate the expressions so others could guess the adjective. As a homework create a film script out of the pictures

I think of something like this video, using only pics to give movement and make a story. This video is incredible. She took over 750 photographs after changing her face paint each time.

I've used this kind of activity with facial expressions to practise mood and emotion related adjectives.
One that worked very well was a class survey in which students were asked to use their mobiles to take selfies of them representing emotions related to school life (reactions to goo/bad marks, self-satisfaction for passing tests, disappointment...). Photos were then printed and put on the board for the students to be interpreted using adjectives in comparison expressions.
The most interesting issue of the activity was that expressions may be interpreted in a different way from the one intended , this resulting also from cultural background.

A fun thing to do with the young children would be to read a story such as Goldilocks and the Three Bears and highlight the expressions of each character. Then get the children to imitate the different faces made by each character and have others guess what face they are making. They would learn the different adjective words associated with each face.
