In addition to life-enhancing investments, it cooperates with universities and organisations supporting business development to create the most interesting offer possible to attract even more talented people to Warsaw.

One of Warsaw's priorities is education, which is why every year the city allocates the most money from the city budget to municipal education. Warsaw is pursuing a record programme of educational investment, with 28 new nursery schools and 17 schools built and opened over the past few years. For the city, education also means comfortable learning conditions, comprehensive support systems for children and young people and decent pay and working conditions for teachers.

The capital's schools are modern, have well-equipped subject classrooms and excellent teachers teach in them. Secondary schools and technical schools have been carrying out innovative curricular activities for many years, which ensure that they have the highest teaching standards. Students are successful in national contests and competitions, participate in international projects and undertake social initiatives. Technical schools and level 1 vocational schools provide modern and practical education.

Warsaw has an extensive network of special schools and facilities for children and young people with various disabilities. The city's special schools have a specialised educational offer and provide highly qualified staff and special equipment and teaching aids.

We create opportunities to explore, ask questions and interact. We strive to pique visitors’ curiosity, inspire them, stimulate their imaginations, delight them and make them think. We don’t teach, we facilitate exploration. We do not explain things, but instead help visitors understand for themselves and see different perspectives.

Science is no longer considered an authority, yet it is still science that will help us find solutions to the problems plaguing humanity – provided that its discoveries are put to good use. We believe that initiating dialogue on socially important topics is one of the most important tasks of science centres, and we try to do this both. We focus on issues related to global warming, care for the environment, public health concerns, and social aspects of the development of new technologies, especially artificial intelligence and biotechnology.

Copernicus Science Centre is is the largest institution of its type in Poland and one of the most advanced in Europe. Since its opening, it has been visited by over 13 million people.

Since 2008, the Copernicus Science Centre together with Polish Radio has organized the Science Picnic - Europe's largest outdoor science-popularization event.

The Copernicus Science Centre is a cultural institution established and financed by the City of Warsaw, the Minister of Science and Higher Education, the Minister of National Education.
