They use the technology they have to be able to work long into the nights and be able to make straight rows when cultivating and planting and the technology they have now allows them to do those things. The more technology advances the better farmers can do their jobs, and therefore they produce more food. Technological advancements give farmers the tools to be able to plant twice, three times, or more what they would have been able to produce in the beginning. Thus, surplus farming. This puts the need for these technologies in other countries into perspective as well. Other countries all over this world need technology such as what we see in this video, and they do not have the same access to it that we do and suffer famine because of it.
