I have selected these learning outcomes as I think they support student learning of E&S 4 very well. E&S 1,2 and 3 focus on comparing the various celestial bodies and how they began. E&S 4 is very well linked to these as it further develops celestial bodies by demonstrating their movement. NoS 1, 6, 8 and 10 all created fantastic class discussions in my lessons as the students really began to appreciate the work of scientists and also how various media sources have different opinions. I will try to present the information as visually as I can to help students get a better understanding of the topic. I will have cut outs of the Sun, the Earth and the Moon for every student. They will put them together using a rotating clip and they will then use this model to demonstrate the Earth revolving around the Sun and the moon revolving around the Earth as well as to show how the solar and lunar eclipse occur. I will also get them to design a poster of the ‘Phases of the Moon’. I will use a globe and lamp to explain the seasons. C, 2005) very helpful when planning for this Unit and Learning Outcome. It highlighted to me the  teaching methods that ''are most effective in helping students acquire a dynamic mental model of the Earth-Moon-Sun that is consistent with modern science'' as well as the misconceptions surrounding the Earth - Moon - Sun system.
