His name is Jeremy Hansen he was born in 1976 on January 27. He is from London Ontario. Fun fact he is actually the fist Canadian man to go further then the  international space station. He was raised up on a farm and since of looking at a picture of Neil Armstrong and he wanted to see and look out at space from the moon and look out into the beyond. On his education stand point on perusing his dream. When he was 17 he got accepted at Royal Military College. In 20023 completes CF-18 Fighter Pilot Training. Also did you know he was one out of the two recruits selected by CSA the  third Canadian Astronaut Recruitment Campaign. Now his dreams were coming true of being a astronaut because of all of the education he did. He did way more things that I wrote here witch is amazing. But there are only four people who are going. One of the people who are going is a Canadian. 

This is going to be the first time a canadian asternaut has gone farther then the international space station. There are 4 Canadians that could go. The people are Jeremy Hansen, Joshua Kutryk ,  Jennifer Sidey-Gibbons, and David Saint-Jacques.

Well, today a Canadian astronaut got chosen to go to the moon. The astronaut that got chosen was Jeremy Hanson. He was born on January 27th in 1976. He is from London, Ontario and he is the first Canadian to go further than the international space station. He was raised in the environment of a farm and moved to Ingersoll for his high school years. When Jeremy was 17 he got accepted to go to Royal Military College. There he took space science. Ever since he was younger he had always dreamed of being an astronaut. His dreams are finally coming true. Since he was a young child he was always fascinated by space and after seeing Neil Armstrong go to the moon he got inspired to go to the moon. He found out that there was a delay in pilot training and decided to get his masters degree. The timing was perfect for him because after he finished he got to start his pilot training. After lots of hard work he became a CF-18 fighter pilot in 2004.
