Our patient had a fractured femur, so he had pins and a cast to put it make into place. First set of observations were good, but then started to complain about pain when being bed bathed. The patient then had an ingrown toenail. We then informed the doctor, who said to wash with warm water and leave it dry for the rest of the day. We then used the Wong-Baker Pain Face Assessment Tool to figure out how much pain he was in, this then allowed us to get the nurse in charge to prescribe him paracetamol. The orthopaedic doctor prescribe the wrong dose of paracetamol when checking the BNFC and asked for the doctor to change the prescribed dose. I also gave my patient fluxicillon for the pain he was having in his right femur. -patient presented with pain, which I acted on and gave him paracetamol after getting the doctor to prescribe the right dosage. 
-He complained of his urine stinging so I did a urine dipstick test which came back negative, and it was due to him not being able to move.
-His observations were stable and within normal parameters for his age with a BPEWS of 0
