Such is life during a pandemic. But change is good!

I am a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a teacher, a soldier, and a vegetarian.  I am also a quiet and low-key person who enjoys time at home when I can get it, and spend as much time as I can with family just cooking/baking or enjoying the Lake.

I took a while to settle into a career, and dappled in everything from hairstyling, to cooking, to daycare.  I finally decided to complete my BA and BEd degrees at UNBSJ and UNBF, and I have been a high school teacher at Fundy Middle and High School since 2005.  4 years ago, I also included the Canadian Armed Forces to my resume and have been juggling both since then.  Working part time in the Army means that I train during the evenings, weekends, and in the summer.  It is a challenge at times!

I am looking forward to learning and sharing.
