Age of Reason and Age of Revolution

Topic: The human right that relates is the right of democracy because people were rebelling against the governments by not using these ideas.

Reflection: There was an assignment showing the thinkers of the century and how they contributed to the growth of the world and new inventions founded. This relates freedom of thought that was being expressed by the thinkers and respected by most of the leaders.

Connection: These events connect to the right to democracy because the U.S. had to pay taxes for England but was not getting any representation in the government in England. This was also called taxation without representation.

Application to present day: These events do not happen as frequently today but in 1956 the Bahamas reclaimed its independence from England without physical conflict.
