Painted in 1504 by Rafael
In this painting, there is a sleeping knight, a standing man, and a standing woman. I think someone would make this because they are trying to show that even knights are helpless sometimes. If those people didn't like him, he'd be gone by now. This art piece shows that the artist liked to use bright colors and paint nice backgrounds. I chose this art because I kind of want to know why the standing people are there.

I see that she has a green dress that seems rich and expensive but her facial expression shows that she is not happy with something or someone. She wants more. She is an angle that's probably immortal and alone but it seems that she wants to live a life with love and with a family. I chose this image because it looked very deep and that it had a meaning.

This drawing was probably made by Ambrogio de Predis at probably 1495-1499. In this picture I see a pale woman wearing a type of veil and a green dress. She has a couple of necklaces and again her facial expression is a bit sad. I wonder if artists transfer their emotions into their paintings because when I read the description, it said that this was a painting that a women made in honor of her husband who passed away which kind of confirmed my suspicion a bit. I chose this painting because it was a side portrait of someone and not a lot of artists do side portraits which is why I decided to choose it.

Painting created by Leonardo da Vinci and Andrea del Castagno. Artists began working on it the year of 1495 and finished 1498. The Last Supper illustrates the scene from the last days of Jesus Christ. In this piece, I see several male disciples surrounding Jesus, all of which lined up against a long table. They are talking among themselves and eating. I think this piece was made to illustrate the Christian story of Jesus's last days before he was captured and crucified. This art piece shows the people that were leaving during this period the emotion felt when the disciples of Jesus betrayed him. I chose The Last Supper because it represents the serenity and power of Jesus compared to the chaos and emotion of humans.

Painting created by Raphael in the year of 1506. Madonna del Meadow illustrates the Virgin Mary with Jesus Christ the child and John the Baptist. Mary is the largest figure, anchoring the foreground in stable triangular form. I think this piece was made because it represents the Church with Christ's sacrifice. To the people living during this time, the Madonna del Prato shows how caring and loving the piece might come of as it includes a calm grassy meadow, a loving women, and innocent children. I chose the art piece because I like how it was created with a perspective to show how the landscape is far away from the viewer.

In this particular image I see lots of arched windows. The ceiling is also arched. The walls and ceiling are painted with various different portraits, scenes of nature, and villages. Someone might make a chapel like this to be used as a place for important ceremonies. This artwork shows people during the renaissance really liked arches and paintings of people. I picked this piece of art because I love how it combines two artforms (painting, and architecture).

I think someone would make this because it shows how they could survive and how much work they put into hunting. The artwork shows that they had to work hard. I picked this piece of art because it seemed a bit interesting since there are many different types of Renaissance art that you can pick, and I love the details of the painting especially since it possibly looks like something from back in the day around 1565.

This might mean that they don’t have enough food or money to be in a home. I think an artist would make this to show that in the past, there were a lot of families struggling to find homes, food, or money.

Albrecht Dürer's watercolor painting The Great Piece of Turf was produced in his Nuremberg workshop in 1503. It's an audit into a seemingly random collection of wild plants, including dandelion and greater plantain. The painting is regarded as one of Dürer's greatest realistic nature studies. I noticed the detail into each blade of grass and it's beautiful, maybe Albercht painted this to resemble mother nature's beauty. This artwork shows that the renaissance was very free and nature-invested. I chose this artwork because of how different it was to the other artworks. This is just grass whilst the other artworks are of mostly people.

The Lamentation of Christ is a painting by Andrea Mantegna, an Italian Renaissance artist, from about 1480. Although the piece's exact date is unknown, it was most likely finished between 1475 and 1501, most likely in the early 1480s. I noticed that it is Christ's body supine on a marble slab. I chose this because of how much it caught my eye. How would they have imaged this? Why did they paint this? I have so many unanswered questions.

This piece of art was made by Leonardo Da Vinci. This art piece was made in the italian renaissance time period, specifically 1483-1485. When looking at this piece of art I see a connection and bond. I think that someone would make this piece of art to represent protection. This is because if you look really closely you will notice on the older women there is a halo, this would mean that she would be an angle. Therefore, one may conclude that the older women could be a guardian angel. This may mean that during the renaissance time period everyone had was assigned to a guardian angel. This is how back then then they felt safe. This is because a guardian angel is a type of angel that is assigned to protect and guide a particular person, group or nation. I picked this particular piece because I thought that the art was different and because it was very appealing to me.

"The Dream Of Human Life" is an art piece by Michelangelo painted in 1533. In the painting I notice that everyone is naked and the painting is filled with darker tones. I see the biggest man in the middle clutching on to the earth with a fearful face sitting on a table with a pile of faces underneath, they are surrounded by people who look like are living a depressing, hate filled life. There is also one creature with wings blowing or playing something into the big mans ear. I think think Michelangelo painted this to show how vulnerable the people during their time were because nakedness is normally a form of humiliation. I think it shows how expressive people were during the renaissance. I chose this art piece because I thought it was the prettiest.

"Düer's Rhinoceros" By Albrecht Düer it is a painting of a Rhino possibly showing what is thought to be the inside of a Rhinoceros. Albrecht Düer learned about a rhino after being given a description of one (more or less of it added) he never acutely saw one before. There are a couple of added features like a horn on the back and and scales that look like armor but overall he did a good job replicating it.
