We saw a few exemplars of technology use in intensive reading and ceramics with QR codes and blogging. We also saw some use of more typical tech with videos to provide visuals that were key for learning and audio recordings. The quality of the technology used is key. Student control is key. Tech should enhance the lesson seamlessly, allowing them to grapple with the material. It should not be just a tag on. We saw laptop carts in most classrooms we visited, but only one was in use.

Projectors were the most common use of tech. Band used a synthesizer for harmony. A few students had a digital tuner on their phones. Also a digital metronome that was very flexible. All of the other classes had course specific technology in use (ie. tv production, fashion, photo lab)

One frequently used piece of equipment throughout the school was the PROJECTOR.There were also some classrooms with computers for each student, and in these cases they were also being utilized. It seemed like the rooms in the portables were least endowed with technology assets.
