The first smartphone was developed by IBM in 1992, but the modern concept was revolutionized by Apple in 2007.

First, everything started with the ideation phase. Before the engineers built the physical device, designers had sketched multiple concepts and software developers had planned the operating system interface. Once they finalized the blueprints, the team created the 3D models.

Next, the supply chain department sourced the raw materials and hardware. After the company had secured contracts with specialized suppliers for the processors, camera sensors, and batteries, factories manufactured the main circuit boards (PCBs) and the glass displays.

Then, the assembly process began in high-tech facilities. Before robotic arms and workers put all the pieces together into the aluminum or plastic chassis, technicians had tested each individual component to ensure quality.

After that, the devices received their digital brains. Once the software team had flashed the operating system into the internal storage, quality control experts ran rigorous stress tests on the hardware and software.

Finally, the product was ready for the market. After the marketing team had designed the boxes and manuals, logistics workers packed the smartphones and shipped them to stores worldwide.

Revolutionary invention: Water Purification Straw

The water purification straw is a portable device that is used to clean dirty water and make it safe to drink.

First, it was created to help people who do not have access to clean water. It was designed as a simple and portable solution for rural areas, emergencies, and natural disasters where safe water is not always available.

Then, dirty water enters the straw. Next, the water is filtered by a special membrane. After that, bacteria and parasites are removed by the filter, so the water becomes safer to drink. Finally, people can drink cleaner water directly from the straw.

Before this invention was created, many people had suffered from diseases caused by contaminated water. For this reason, the invention became very important for communities that needed a practical solution.

Today, this invention is used by travelers, hikers, volunteers, and communities around the world. It is considered very useful because it helps prevent diseases and saves lives.

Everyone needs clean water, and someone in an emergency can use this device easily. Almost anyone can carry it because it is small, light, and really practical.

If people use the water purification straw, they drink safer water. If more communities use this invention, their health will improve. If this invention did not exist, many people would be at risk.

Finally, I think the water purification straw is an extremely important invention which continues to be relevant today because it gives people access to clean water in a simple and practical way. *************Great choice, good job with passive voice and description, remember to add sequencing words for the process.

Before modern electricity was developed, ancient people had observed that rubbed amber attracted small objects. Later, Benjamin Franklin conducted the kite experiment and proved that lightning was a form of electricity. Scientists had studied electrical charges before Alessandro Volta invented the first battery in 1800. His invention provided a continuous source of electric current. Researchers had made important discoveries before Michael Faraday developed electromagnetic induction. Finally, Thomas Edison improved the practical light bulb in 1879 and brought electric lighting into homes. These advances changed the way people lived and used energy.
