Devyion: Australia Colonization

A prime example of biotic pollution is in Australia. Being an island, Australia is home to some very unique species found no where else in the world. Also, it didn't originally have some of the common animals found in Europe or America. When Europeans colonized Australia 200 years ago, the brought over some of these animals, including rabbits and foxes to hunt, and cats to keep their fields free from rats. Unfortunately, the animals weren't contained, and their population exploded and they spread out all over the country. The current rabbit population is 500 million and they have become a major pest because they cause soil erosion, they destroy the habitat of many native species, and they cause huge commercial production losses. Cats and foxes have no natural predators in Australia, and have feasted on the defenseless native marsupials since they were introduced.

This breed of fish is an invasive species in the wetlands of Florida, brought by Asian tourists, who grew to big, so they released them out into the waters, they eat all of the native fish, crustacean, and amphibians. Locals are trying to stop the fish from removing all animal life from the area, but it has been difficult from the large number of fish they can give birth two at one time.

OK look we have a problem with all of the oil that we need to run our world ( sorta) is being sent into the water because of humans not being careful and killing a lot of marine life and non marine as well because anything that eats a poisoned fish will be poisoned as well so we could be killing a lot more than just marine life when we make an accident.

Yes I am being broad again but this has to be done. So plastics are a man-made product that can take decades to be broken down by nature. So were do the careless people end up putting it, in bodies of water of coarse what else could we do with it. " What does recycle mean"-idiot that just dumped his trash into the river.

Yes they would count as a pollutant because no one here wants them they can mess with boat motors and clog up water pipes that are used for things like irrigation and also are competing with native species for dominance and seem to be winning.
