Hartley's Crocodile Adventures involves local the community by collaborating and supporting the Yirrganydji Rangers and the ranger program. It minimized its environmental impact by planting over 7000 trees on the site. Hartley's also finds, stores, manages, and treats resources that modern society takes for granted, namely potable water, reliable electricity, sewerage connection, waste removal and digital connectivity due to being a land-locked island. It respects the rights of locals by acknowledging the Yirrganydji Traditional owners and dedicated a page about the history of the traditional landowners. Hartley's could improve by perhaps offering more opportunities to the local community and making sure they are more involved within the facility.

The Tasmaina Walking Company are aware of the impacts of global climate chnage and the local enviromental degregation that occurs in the land they operate witin. They follow designated trails, and work close with the Parks and Wilfife servcice to enurese they follow up-to-date guidelines. They remove all wate from facilities and try to maximise recycling.

The Great Ocean Ecolodge are entirely self-sufficient and do not rely on public utilities. They have facilitates for researching and increasing their understandings, leading to conservation of biodiversity and natural ecological processes. This helps to develop innovative responses to conservation challenges and contributes to widespread universal solutions. One thing that they have not mentioned on their website is the heritage and history behind the Great Ocean Ecolodge.
