All of the professors are super nice and more than willing to help. You can also come to any of us (2nd years) if you feel more comfortable doing that. We would also love to help! I will also specify starting on your resource kit early will save you lots of stress in the long run. 
Follow the rubrics, make the deadlines or reach out to the profs they are understanding.
