The Ring of Fire plays an important role in history, it carries many of the worlds biggest earthquakes and 75% of the worlds Volcanos are in the Ring of Fire, since the 1800s, Volcanos such as Mount Tambora, and Mount Saint Helens has both erupted in the rind of fire. Earthquakes such as Japans Earthquake in 2011 also occurred in the ring of fire. But that is not all this is home to an abundant Marine ecosystem giving the natives and neighboring countries the perfect way of making money from selling the seafood there, and in general a way of having food for themselves. As well as them having the fish their there is also a lot of metals and rocks like titanium and garnet to things as important and in demand as petroleum. Although they have all this it wasn't the reason for it's discovery.
