         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Why did towns and cities develop &amp; then grow?<br></strong>The towns develop and grow because there were more social and economic opportunities <br><strong>What opportunities were present?</strong>Some opportunities where merchanting and creating goods to sell. Their was also chances to become an artist inside of a merchants home<br><strong>How did the social system change?</strong>Some social change was that there were less surfs because their was less of a demand for protection. The  gave protection in its self. This would make the population rise in the cities.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>What were positive changes to living standards?</strong></div><div>There was merchanting and creating goods to sell. There was also opportunities for artists because the merchants would hire artists to live in their homes and produce work. Food would also became easy to obtain by the large markets.<br><strong>What were negative changes to living standards?</strong></div><div>There were fire hazards because the homes where made of wood and where so close together.A high amount of waste on the streets because people had nowhere to put it. Disease could also spread very easily because of the large amount of people.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>What were the symptoms?<br></strong>The&nbsp; symptoms where a fever, headache, chills, weakness, and swollen tender lymph glands<br><br><strong>How did people treat the Black death?</strong><br><strong>Vinegar and water treatment</strong> | If a person gets the disease, they where be put to bed. after being washed with vinegar and rose water<br><br><strong>Lancing the buboes</strong> | The swellings with the Black Death where cut open to allow the disease to leave the body.<br><br><strong>&nbsp;Bleeding</strong> | They thought that the disease must be in the blood. The veins going to the heart where cut open to let the disease out of the body.<br><br><strong>Diet</strong> | They would not eat food that expires easily and smells badly <br><br><strong>Sanitation </strong>| The streets where be cleaned of all waste.<br><br><strong>How effective were the treatments?</strong></div><div>It seems as though they used theories instead of scientific evidence. So the peoples “Treatments” would not be to affective.</div><div><br><strong>What was the outcome if you got the black death?</strong></div><div>There was almost certain death because there was no through way or cures to stop the black death</div>]]></description>
