although they might not be your biological parents they 100% can be considered your "parent". If they love you, care for you, all around treat you like you are their own kid then they can be considered your parent

A step parent can be a real parent because I believe you don’t need to share blood to be considered family. It’s the love and care that makes the relationship.

Yes they could become a "real" parent based off of the relationship they have with the kid. If they are showing love and doing more than the biological parent then it works.

yes. A good example my father came into my brothers life when he was only about 1 year old and has been his main father figure since they consider eachother father and son no step anything. what makes them a "real" parent is the quality of the relationship and the connection built. my brother says he has 2 dads and thats all

step-parents can be real parents if they involve themselves in the Child's life. If the parent is involved and treats the child like if it were their own then the step-parent is a real parent.

I think it’s really complicated, but depending on who they stepparent is when you met them and how is really all that matters. I personally am not fond of mine but that doesn’t mean good stepparents don’t exist.

Yes. I see some of my aunts and uncles like a second mom because of the way they took care of me while my parents were working, so I believe the same could be applied to step parents. What really matters is how strong that connection is.

Step parents can be real parents , my step father even though not being my real father for me i consider him as my father in blood because he had taken care of me , took up the spot of father not only economically but actually was there for me , so yes a step father can be a real father

Can a step parent be a "real" parent depends on the step parent. If the step parents tries to be invloved in the kids life and does his best to be a real parent. While another step parent only gives minimal effort.

I would say yes, yes step parents can absolutely be considered real parents. Because they often play a significant role in the upbringing/guidance of their stepchildren. Making connections and memories regardless of not being biologically related.
