Snowball represents Leon Trotsky. Snowball is intelligent, passionate, and eloquent at the Animal Farm just like Leon Trotsky was, even though Snowball was blamed for demolishing the windmill. Snowball was the main leader in the Battle of Cowshed, he planned everything ahead and fought hard during that Battle. On the farm Snowball was a pig. One of the more famous quotes from the book is "Four legs good, two legs bad" meaning that the animals would not communicate with humans.
