         <description><![CDATA[<div>Selk<br>I looked at Milner's lesson on sentence frames, and I plan to use this for an initial quickwrite paragraph on Chapter 1 of Frederick Douglass' Autobiography.<br>I want to focus on the UDL bucket of "why", and I plan to focus on how the text is building an argument against slavery. This is a quickwrite activity because the sentence frames are so robust and because the answers to "Why" is slavery an abhorrence to humanity. &nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I looked at the different ways people were engaging students with a variety of texts. The entire slide inspired me to incorporate multimedia text sets at the beginning of my next two units to act as reviews of theme identification. This can be a great opportunity for students to develop claims supported by limited evidence and to strengthen student talk.</div>]]></description>
