Hand puppets were originally from China, but it has changed a lot now. Hand puppets will change through religious belief and cultural development. For example In the 1920s Hand puppetry was all about various unique sword moves and martial arts. When it came to the 1930s Hand puppets began to be performed in the Japanese language, and Hand puppets would even wear Japanese clothing. According to the change of Hand puppets, I think hand puppets are the best item to represent Taiwan culture.

When Taiwanese have problems asking God, the first thing that comes to mind is divination blocks. The earliest divination blocks originated in the Song Dynasty. The ancients used shells as currency, so they also used shells to pray for the good.Later, because the shell was too easily damaged, it was changed to wood. The divination blocks, are two half-moon-shaped red wooden blocks, one side is flat, and the other side is protruding in the middle.
If you have any questions or can't make the decision by yourself, you can go to the temple to ask God. Before you throw them, you have to tell God your name and your questions. Then, throw them and god will tell you the answer.
The result will be two conditions. One is "Chiu-Bwei", which means"God has not decided ", you can say them clearly and throw them again. The other is "Shining-Bwei", which means " Yes". if you throw them three consecutive times. That means"God says yes three times.
So if you throw two different sides, you should be happy!

Din Tai Fung is a well-known chain of Xiaolongbao restaurants in Taiwan. Its xiao long bao is so special because there's soup inside the dumpling, which makes it so hard to make. It's just also a food that's so different than anything you've had before. Nothing really has that burst of flavor in your mouth like a soup dumpling does. And the Din Tai Fung definitely pride ourselves on having the thinnest skins of all the xiao long bao stores out there. Everything needs to be kept extremely fresh to deliver the best quality to their customers. This is the best Xiaolongbao I have ever eaten.
