It is a good thing in most cases but in this one, people have the tendency to be mean/rude about it. In this day and age, people seem to "love" the native culture but like 40 years ago people were still trying to destroy our ways. This topic affects the people who don't really take pride in being native. Believe it or not there are some natives who don't know enough about their own culture to follow it.
