1)Not making the Vikings made his father later in the story create a team with Danny on it and they ended up winning the championship.
2)When Tess told Danny to call her they started talking more after that and ended up in a relationship.
3)When Danny’s dad came back, the new team his dad made one the championship (With Danny on it) and Danny grew a better relationship with his dad and opened up to each other a lot more.

1)When Danny;s dad got in a car crash Danny’s team didn’t have anyone to coach them, but the team already went so far and Danny knew he couldn’t give up on them and took up a whole new level of responsibility by coaching his team.
2) When Danny was going to make the game winning shot against Hanesboro the ball just barely bounced off the rim and didn’t go in and after that Danny kept practicing and practicing that same shot to never let down his team again.
3) When Danny’s dad unexpectedly came to the tournament game Danny felt the need to win even more and when he did win Danny and his dad had a much stronger relationship and bondage after the journey with him and his team.
