Guilt is feeling bad for something you did, you feel as though you were responsible for the act you have committed although you didn’t necessarily have to commit this act to feel guilt.

The difference between difference and responsibility is that guilt is a form of regretting something you did. You feel ashamed for what you did or what you made happen, and you wish you thought twice. Responsibility is where you take act in something and put it on your shoulders. And it might lead to feeling guilty if it doesn't end up like it was ment to.

Guilt can make us want to make up for what were feeling guilty for, and responsibility can make you feel like you are forced to take act and therefore giving

I think Jeremiah did the right thing. He stood by his morals, and did what he meant was the right thing to do. But the fact that he quit his job wasn’t the smartest thing considering his situation.

What is the difference between responsibility and guilt? How can each lead us to make changes or take action? The difference between responsibility and guilt is that responsibility has something to do with duties connected to a role, whilst guilt is something that anyone could feel, regardless if they have responsibility or not.Responsibility can lead you to take action because of the duty that has been put on you by other people. You feel like you have to make changes or take action because of the fact that there are other people that are relying on you.Guilt can lead you to take action or take action in an attempt to mend the thing that caused you to feel guilty in the first place.b)	Do you think Jeremiah did the right thing, or should he obey the rules of his employer?Wasting food is a major problem in the developed world. And the wasting of food would probably seem absolutely ridiculous for someone from Sudan, where the lack of food was a major problem. Therefore it would only make sense for him to do the right thing and give away food to a person in need, even more so seeing that he was quite religious.c) Is it ever okay to break the law to do the right thing? If so, how do you determine when that might be okay? We would say that it depends on the seriousness of the law that is being broken, and how serious the consequences of the action could be. In general, breaking the law is never good, but we think it is up to the person that is in that situation.d) How can you related the film to the topics we have covered so far in our English course?	The film that we saw, was related to refugees and war. Which is quite similar to the topics we have covered so far in our English course.

a) The difference between responsibility and guilt is that when one is driven by guilt, he feels the need to redeem himself, make up for past mistakes or deserve forgiveness. Responsibility is more a sense of duty, that it is morally correct to do what you must do.
Guilt can make us make decisions and take actions we would not normally do, while responsibility depends a lot more on the persons moral compass and overall personality.

b) We believe Jeremiah did the right thing, because he stood by his values. There is no point in throwing edible food instead of giving it to someone in need.

d) There were immigrants who migrated in to the US. Therefore, we can relate this film to the topics multiculturalism, immigrants and the US, which we have covered in our English course so far.
