I enjoyed it very much, and was told that most doctors need to do research like this anyway. I like the serenity of working in a quiet environment and also the low pressure environment that isn't as prevalent in other parts of a hospital.

Later, I researched and saw an aortic mechanical valve being replaced due to being leaky - which was really interesting and made me think about surgery as a job.
