Totto -  Chan pay no attention to studies and likes to look out the window and see the birds , the child  seems to distracted easily .  
I like her because she is responsible and love to think about her future but she don't want to study . The teacher is worried about the girl, because she talks to birds and draws a ship's flag . Although she pays no attention to the lessons what make the teacher frustrated .
The mother she was not mad at her daughter, but she would choose a school that would understand the little girl and teach her how to get along with others .  We can tell that Totto like streets musicians because she was standing at the window waiting  for them . 
So when she saw a train that had a school inside she was very happy ,her mother went to talk to the director for her to study there. 
To the mother's surprise the director wanted to talk to the little girl , he started asking the question what does she like she felt comfortable talking about all the interesting things she likes .
Reading this I am happy because the director showed a sincere interest in understanding little Totto-Chan .

6) The mother would breath a sigh of relief if the headmaster except Toot Chan to the school but Totto Chan is super excited to get in the train-school just like me if I had a chance to go to a train school.
7) The headmaster of the new school brought an aura of sociability to Totto Chan and the headmaster have a tremendous amount of patience. He almost shows the greatest level interest in Totto Chan's experience of her daily life. If I were a student, I would love to go to a different school like this - one that was in a train. Like Ananya said,  it would feel like a journey and an adventure. 

What a wonderful headmaster! He seems patient and listens to Totto-Chan carefully. He also seems to have strange or unique ways of dealing with things.
