Taiwan has a unique and diverse culture where the traditional Chinese and aborigine values and beliefs have a significant role in it. 

Taiwanese have a high context culture and indirect communication - where they would read between the fine lines and context surrounding the spoken words. They tend to avoid answering directly, especially if it is negative, and they will use silence and non-verbal cues to communicate implicitly.

Taiwan has one of the largest and strongest economies due to the open-market policies that helps businesses to facilitate the flow of goods and capital.

Most of the population speaks mandarin Chinese or Taiwanese hokkien.
