         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sometimes we think we really <em>need</em> something, but do we really need it? Needs are things that we must have in order to survive, such as food, clothing, water, and shelter. On the other hand, wants are things we would like to have because we enjoy them. For example, we <em>need </em>food but we <em>want </em>ice cream.  Come up with a list with your child of things they really need and compare it to what they want... and don't forget to remind them of all the wonderful things they have! If your child is old enough, think about having them complete chores for money and save up for what they want themselves, like a new toy or game!</div>]]></description>
