For me it is all about getting the message into the world; via our schools, via media channels and via our businesses. We need people to share their stories and small steps towards a more sustainable planet; we all need to be leaders and stand up!

Education: We will have to include courses on Sustainability into our Study Programs in order to give importance for next generations.

The artisans with their ancestral techniques, natural fibers, natural dyes, are in the roots of this industry and always have had a strong connection with the nature and the planet. As Adriana Marina (founder of animaná and Hecho por Nosotros) says, our ancestors used their clothes for transmitting, communicating and expressing their spirits, their way of living life and their cultures. I think that we need to go back to this and use fashion as a force of good, not a force for creating wealth for a little percentage and having a dirty supply chain in all its stages.
