Women Rights Movement

The women's rights reform was the most important reform movement. It was very unfair that women barely had any freedom and could not do anything without their husband's permission. This movement was fought by Susan B. Anthony & Elizabeth Cady Stanton. This happened during the abolition movement women suffered the most especially if they were slaves. This movement was most successful in both genders being equal in workplaces. This movement is important because women nowadays would not be free and if would be very different.

Abolition Movement

The abolition movement is the ending a slave trade and banning all slaves. Harriet Tubman was someone who helped fight in the abolition movement and helped over 300 slaves escape to freedom. Abraham Lincoln banned all slavery in 1863 in the United States. This movement was successful because people no longer had to be slaves even though it was hard to reach this point. This movement is important because now nobody has to suffer for no reason.

Education Movement

The education movement was helped by Horace Mann who people called "Father of American education". This man made it so teachers cannot sit students as punishment. He also started teacher training because before anybody could become a teacher they did not need experience. It was also mandatory that all states had to have at least one public school. This movement is important because kids nowadays would not have gotten a good education since the teacher was not trained. The kids would also be getting hit and that wouldn't have been a good punishment.
