We still did the gift giving and such of Christmas, it's just that the gathering was missing. Instead, this year we joined a family Zoom call on Christmas Day. It was still fun, but different.

We also watched Christmas Eve mass online which was different. I did get to see a lot of the people that I usually do which was good. We didn't go visit my grandparents in Florida and stayed home with my family instead; however, my aunt and uncle live in Pataskala so they came to our house to visit. In order to see my German cousins, grandparents, and cousins in Austin, we did several family video calls. We went to Mass on New Year's Eve in person, but we watched Christmas Eve Mass from home.

I was able to see 5 of my siblings and their families for about 15 minutes, but we wore masks and socially distanced. I was not able to see any of my grandparents but I was able to talk on the phone with them. My family and I went to mass on Christmas Eve and went to my grandparents house on Christmas day. One difference within my Christmas celebration was experience I had at mass. This was due to not a lot of people being at mass and all of us spaced out.
