So far the book is about a girl Cat, who has  been given a partner Joel, to work on a tandem story together. Booth of them hate each other, and it gets even worse when Cat's dad and Joel's mum start to meet up frequently. However, whilst Joel and Cat are trying to break them apart, all of a sudden her mum come back home changing everything. Joel starts to gain feelings for Cat but hates her again knowing that Cat was a reason why him and his girlfriend broke up.
