Last year, I traveled with my family, my mom, my aunt, my sister, to Chicaque Natural Reserve. This reserve was located in Soacha, Cundinamarca. We went there because my mother gave us some tickets, and we had to take advantage of the experience. Since it was a one-day trip, we had to arrive early to enjoy it.

In this picture, I was sitting on a very old stone staircase. I felt curious to take a photo here because the background looked very beautiful, so I took advantage of the situation.

There was a cabin in the center of the park. I thought it was just a hotel, but it wasn't. We realized it was also the park's restaurant, so we went there for lunch.

The food smelled really good, which made me even hungrier. So, I took advantage and ate a delicious lunch. It had pork, beef, sausage, fruit salad, and a very sweet lemonade.

After we finished eating, we spent some time admiring the beautiful natural view that the park offered. Seeing so much green through the mist was quite relaxing and visually.

We went to a sacred place, and it felt very calm and peaceful. The atmosphere was beautiful due to the silence and respect that the place inspired.

In this picture, you can see the viewpoint. It was quite a long climb, but the moment was beautiful. From there, we could see the mountains in the distance. I sat there for half an hour.

As we were leaving, someone told me that nearby there was one of the largest trees in the world. I took out my phone and i take a photo of it. for the mist, we couldn't see where it ended. I was amazed.

My advice for visiting this place was to bring warm clothes, as it was a mist forest and rained a lot. Additionally, it was important to wear comfortable shoes due to the wet ground and some steep areas that could have caused falls and injuries if the right footwear wasn't used. I had a bit of trouble because I didn't bring that clothing or those shoes, but, I had a great time, and it was one of the best experiences to date.
