But in the book you can also infer that he had good intentions. He had no motivation in taking her cells besides seeing if he could find "immortal cells" that could help in the study of cancer cures. He also took no profits from the HeLa cells even though if he had wanted to he could have made millions.
I think that George Gey would be for the Affordable Care Act (ACA). I think that he would like this because in the book he develops pancreatic cancer that eventually killed him. This inspired her to go and learn more. She became really invested in learning the truth, and as time goes forward she gets to meet the family of Henrietta Lacks and form a bond with them.
I think that Rebecca Skloot would be glad that the Affordable Care Act was passed.
