         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Women used white led and vinegar to make faces pale which was a sign of nobility and wealth but it was toxic.<br><br>-Wealthy women used a lot of false hair, because it not only made it more extravagant but it was easier to manage. They also would curl their hair to show they were of high status.<br><br>-The poor would wear darker colors to draw less attention to themselves and the fact that they were poor. While, the rich would wear brighter colors, extravagant fabrics, and lots of gems to draw more attention to themselves and the fact that they were rich.<br><br>-Working women wore an apron to try to keep their clothing cleaner.<br><br>-Wealthy women would wear elegant wide sleeved gowns over their petticoats. Wealthy women would wear gloves to cover their hands at all times and would also cover their heads with a bonnet or veil.<br><br>-Working men who were usually merchants or farmers would wear a leather doublet which was thick. They wore hats to keep their heads warm and wore belts to carry daggers for protection.<br><br>-They wore luxurious materials which the poor did not have access to. Sleeves and patterns were the two most important things in a wealthy men’s ensemble.&nbsp;<br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Shakespeare is arguably one of the greatest playwrights to ever live, and wrote 37 plays and 154 sonnets.<br><br>However, there has been some scrutiny about whether he actually wrote all these plays.&nbsp; He used over 31,000 different words in his plays, yet his only education came from grammar school.&nbsp; How could he have written such rich plays, and actually invented words and phrases to use in his work with only a rudimentary education?<br><br>If he didn't write the plays, then there are 3 likely candidates:  Sir Francis Bacon, Christopher Marlowe, and Edward De Vere, Earl of Oxford.<br><br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
