In Japan, respect for each other in the community is very important. This can always be seen in its streets as in the trains and the subway, for example, in the escalators of a place, they give way to other people who are passing by. Another important aspect that the Japanese do is the respect they have towards the elderly, children and the blind, for example, when they are on the subway they have to give the seat to the other person if they are older.
One thing my aunt who is Japanese told me is that when they live there they like silence, for example, when you're on the bus you can't talk on the phone or make noise because other people will get angry.

Link: de Junio del
Bouchot,P (18 de Junio del 2019) Travesías. Costumbres Japonesas que TODOS deberíamos seguir. https://www.travesiasdigital.com/destinos/asia/japon/costumbres-japonesas-que-deberiamos-seguir/

The first student to finish the problem raises their hand. The teacher walks over, takes a look at the problem, and circles the student to indicate that it is correct. The student gets up and walks away from his seat. Another hand goes up, but this time the first student assumes the role of teacher. The Japanese say that if you teach what you learn, you will remember about 90%.
