Brinkley et al (2017), conclude their article by stating that team sports do have a positive impact on employees. They suggest that workplace team sports should become an alternative to leisurely exercise to also increase psychological health. The journal also states that while studies were of a high quality, this was the first review to comprehensively investigate the effectiveness of workplace team sports. As such, more objective measures of sickness or absence and standardized procedures should be included in any future studies. (Brinkley et al, 2017)
