         <description><![CDATA[<p>(1) We used Herman E Calloway's behavior to define that he was angry.</p><p>(2) We used how Miss Tomas said he was an ornery man upstairs because he was very hurt as he was sad/angry because something happened that upset him.</p><p>(3 ) Bud appreciates Miss thomas performance because she had a good voice most likely and she was the nicest to Bud. 4) It shows how Miss thomas is really passionate about singing.</p><p>(5) It shows that she was really bright and happy while the other looked sad.</p>]]></description>

That ornery old man upstairs is very hurt right now and I just can't say where he is going to land after hearing the news gets through blowing him around..." When Miss Thomas says "...blowing him around..." I think that she means that he will feel a course of negative emotions such as, angry, sad confused, self blame. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>(1)to be ornery is to be worn out. </p><p><br/></p><p>(2)The sentence "That ornery old man right now is very hurt." gives me a good idea that Herman E Calloway feels worn out. </p><p><br/></p><p>(3)Bud's favorite performance was probably steady eddie's, because he claimed that "Steady Eddie would make the saxophone sing and talk and dance everywhere". </p><p><br/></p><p>(4)When miss thomas was singing, she was helping the instruments shine, and her "busting" by singing, impacted the fact that the instrements and her singing blend in everything together very well. </p><p><br/></p><p>(5)The phase "she was the sun busting through thick gray clouds" means that her voice was like the main shine.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p>I think Ornery means the person has a very bad temper and i made this conclusion because of what Miss Thomas said to Bud.</p></li><li><p> The words around Ornery made me think this because he said he had a bad temper</p></li><li><p> Bud appreciates the performance of Steady Eddie because he said " Steady Eddie would make the saxophone sing talk and dance around everyone else and you would swear that it was the only sound everyone only wanted to hear". This makes me think that Bud enjoyed Eddies the most.</p></li><li><p>It means it gives more depth to the paragraph.</p></li><li><p>It adds more depth because it gives you like a picture in your head of what Miss Thomas said, and helps here get through tough times.</p></li></ol>]]></description>
