         <description><![CDATA[<div>medicare starts <br>Bob Hawke introduced medicare insurance which is health care for Australia on the 1st of the 2nd of 1983. Medicare is the commonwealth funded health insurance scheme that provides free of subscribed health care services to the Australian population. It provides free  hospital services for public patients in public hospitals through the Australian health care agreement with the states, subsides private patients for hospital services (75 percent of the scheduled fee) and provides benefits for out- of- hospital medical services such as consultations with GP's or specialists ( 85 percent of the schedule fee.        </div>]]></description>
