Hello, my name is Stefanie Monk, and I am so excited to have your child in my class this year. My hope is to create an environment for your child to not only grow and learn as a student but also learn life skills to help them grow as humans.

I am a first-year teacher at Montgomery ISD, with a background in teaching in private preschools. My husband is an English teacher and basketball coach here in Montgomery ISD. I have spent the better part of the last 9 years at home with my own little ones, but for the last year, I was a part of the Specials Team as the Computer Lab Teacher, so I am already familiar with most of the students in my homeroom!

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Sam Houston State University. All students are unique learners, and I will work to find out more about who your student is and how they learn! My hope for the year is to build your student's knowledge and skills, as well as foster an environment that encourages them to be confident problem solvers.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to contact me at stefanie.monk@misd.org with any questions you may have. In the case of an emergency, call the front office at 936-555-5555.
