It used to be thought that the environment caused the development of the people (environmental determinism).

Sustainability is using natural resources in a way that they will be preserved for future generations. Sustainable development meets the needs of the people while preserving resources for the future. As the population increases, sustainability usually decreases. As more people live in an area, the amount of fossil-fuel burning cars increases. Conservation is using our resources wisely. Preservation is not using natural resources at all. Biodiversity, the variety of species living in a certain community, can show the amount of sustainability. I believe that natural resources are a gift to be used by humans. There needs to be balance between using them for the good of man and preserving them.

Keep it up! Your posts are full of correct information, evidence and detail. - Mr. D
