Micro Features:
Body Language - While singing Danny thrusts while describing what he done with Sally to show off. We know from Sandy's story that this was not true.

Dialogue - "She got friendly down in the sand" is sang during summer nights by Danny who is once again exaggerating in order to impress.

Costume - Sandy is sat in a traditional gown whilst the other girls are wearing shorts and showing more skin portraying Sandy to be old fashioned and they will peer pressure her to be a better version.

Diegetic Sound - “Lousy with virginity”, Rizzo is making fun of Sandy as she is different to her and wants her to change.

Prop -  The use of the alcohol bottle portraying that Sandy will not drink compared to the other girls portraying how different they are. Jan attempts to shove the bottle in her face portraying they have different morals and want Sandy to change

Micro Features:
Proxemics - Sandy is seen to be very distant with the group and not joining in with the celebration of Danny winning the car race, Sandy is therefore excluding and has not fitted in.

Body Language - Sandy has closed body language and is hunched over with her knees to her chest, portraying how insecure she is feeling with herself. This makes her different to the other group of friends who are out celebrating and jumping around. 

Diegetic Dialogue - “Poor man’s Sandra Dee” Sandy is seen to believe that she is a rubbish copy the real Sandra Dee and she must change to fit in and be a better version of herself.
