Afghanistan is a country with mountains, valleys, plateaus, rivers, and lakes. In central Afghanistan, there are plateaus with small fertile valleys. South of Afghanistan is all desert, therefore, it is cold in the winter, and hot in the summer. There are also four major river systems in the North that flow to a sea.

There are about 32 million people living in Afghanistan, according to the article, “Afghanis.” This population people are mostly Islamic, which is the Sunni tradition.

Afghanistan’s economy has significantly increased over the years. Afghanistan is a place of war at the moment. There is lots of disagreement there. However, behind the catastrophes, it is a beautiful place with lots of interesting culture and sights. And that's what makes it unique. Something that is in their culture is there amazing food. According to "Food in Afghanistan", there are many different spices Afghans like to use. In Afghanistan there are many deserts, so people there can't move around easily. Also, there are many mountains and obviously, people can't actually move the mountains, therefore, they make roads on the mountains. Also, since there are many different crops in Afghanistan, some people take advantage and create drugs. Afghanistan is a country located right below Tajikistan and right above Pakistan and these countries are extremely close to, "China, India, and Nepal. Although Afghanistan seems smaller not the map it is pretty huge and contains many people and these countries are all located in South Asia.The big cities of this small country Mazar-e Sharif, Kandahar, Herat, and Kabul. According to the article, "Asia Map," the temperature is 59F1C. Lastly, the Helmand river is the biggest river there.
