Once, my class went on a camp. The bus was long. The campsite was okay. Cabins, beds, and bathrooms were normal. We did team things, ate okay food, and sat by a small fire. The stories were not scary. Sleeping bags were not comfy. We went back on the bus. The end.

INTRODUCTION

It was the last week of school we had to go to camp. Everyone looked forward to it while I was anxious about vomiting on the bus and what if the cabins are uncomfortable, the sleepover at my grandparents' house taught me really how terrible it is to sleep on an uncomfortable bed, the month of the sleepover I experienced the worst insomnia. I normally can’t sleep if there is too much Noice or if there's any light, but with my grandparents snoring next door I fell asleep for maximum 2 hours and a half, normally I was napping in the middle of the day when my family were working on the garden.

BIULD UP

The whole night I was preparing and packing so I walked up with the least energy.

“I couldn’t sleep last night; you could have prepared the day before instead of watching TV” my younger brother complained.

“Shut up and eat!” I shouted at him through my mouth full of cereal. He glared at me with fiery in his eyes. I slapped him in the face because I felt like it.

I got my bags, and my mum pushed me outside and locked the door behind me, I wondered is this how it feels like to get kicked out of your house when you turn 20. In that case I will just stay here the rest of my life and tease my brother, in other words my punching bag.

I took the bus to school. Arriving at school earlier than I ever have, to catch the bus to camp. We were organized in groups and put in the bus like we were the package ourselves. The bus ride was 2 hours long and I tried to sleep, though the atmosphere in the bus was like one from a club.

We arrived at the campsite after the ride that almost made me throw up after riding over a bump that almost had me hitting the roof (I wasn’t wearing the seatbelt) I got out of the bus almost tripping over other people's feet becoming a tight knot. My legs were numb enough not to feel a train running over them. We were walking our way to the cabins where we were put in our groups that we were going to stay with for the rest of the week we were going to stay at the camp. It was 10:37am when we arrived.

We ate our own lunch we packed at home. I sometimes wonder how we had enough money to waste on a stupid camp that was irrelevant to school. My mum said that it was my last days of school, and I must go. (Wished my mum was like this) we unpacked our luggage making a huge tower of just bags and then destroyed it by jumping on it.

PROBLEM-MEH

The cabin was livable, the bathrooms were the first thing I checked because if they were garbaged then I was going to die, the bathrooms were also clean I could say that because my brother always trashed the guest bathrooms, luckily, he has no access to the bathroom I use. We ate our lunch that day, and after we went in our groups. We were supposed to go to the lake to do canoeing, but it was a hot day, and everyone jumped in. It started with me leaning on one side then my friend on the other side stood up, the boat wasn’t balanced, and it flipped over causing me to fall in. It was really refreshing so everyone joined in.

The time was 1:54pm when we got out from the lake. It took almost 20 minutes to dry off and we were given ice cream, I'm sorry but I would need double the ice cream given to me to actually cool me down. The next thing we did was a high rope course, but it was not scary since I had like 70 cables attached to me to keep me from falling down, it was actually fun jumping from the highest point on the course.

At 4:00pm we ate lunch, we went outside to the campfire and sat around it roasting the marshmallows I brought making a huge kabab of diabetes, we were attacked by a huge army of mosquitoes reminded me why I always hated spring and summer I took the bug spray and intoxicated everyone there it also caught on fire, and we had to close it before the teachers came back, we were still caught and no one took my side, I never felt more betrayed, so I had to stay scolded by the teachers for 20 minuets.

SOLUTION

“Hey, but at least I got rid of the huge population of mosquitoes” I said hoping they would forgive me I forgot my teacher only laughs to dad jokes. I walked back to the cabin where they just started a movie and I fell asleep over there, how do people find these sort of movies good I finished the popcorn in the first 10 minutes I was there.

Because I slept for an hour, I was no longer tired when we had to go to sleep at 9:30. I stayed in bed staring at the ceiling for 2 hours when I finally fell asleep the mattress was so thin and I felt like an egg in a pan in the sleeping bag.

CONCLUSION

7:30 we were woken up it felt like waking up for the army. We were fed well, the food was so good the week passed like that, and I was on the bus again dealing with the disco wondering how we hadn’t crashed yet.
