Estaban only believes in science at the beginning of the movie but though the obstacles that he and nacho face he slowly converts and by the end of the movie, he is leading a prayer.

Harrison vs Society

The characters in this story have a conflict with their society, our world in the future is described as all equal when we read this story but what changes in life if we are all equal. No one is above anyone, no one is a genius, no one is famous, they aren't their own person in a way. They feel as if they aren't free and can't be themselves in this life they are in which causes them to fight against the government.

Harrison vs. society

The government wanted everyone to be equal, so they put handicap devices on everyone. Harrison is very smart,good looking,and strong so the government took him away and kept him hiding away from the rest of the world. Harrison got fed up and want against the governments laws

In this reading the characters are held back from being themselves by two forms of technology for example the handicap radio in their ears or the handicap bags that they are given so that no one is more than the others.

Harrison protests against the strict laws of equality in the U.S. by advocating for diversification and the glorification of uniqueness. He does this because the government suppresses his great traits and overall qualities he was born with, and believes the system is corrupted.

Harrison vs Diana Moon Glampers

As Handicapper General, Diana Moon Glampers is in direct opposition to Harrison's desire for freedom and joy found in individualism. At first, she indirectly attempts to suppress the individuality of Harrison via handicaps, but eventually her hand is forced when Harrison frees himself and a group of others of their handicaps, when she shoots and kills Harrison.

George and Hazel face society by the government enforcing the law of equality across everyone making sure no one is better than someone else. The government forces hideous mask, headphones that transmit random noise that stops complex thinking, as well as heavy weights to their bodies. This causes a character vs society conflict from George and Hazel facing other people that also are in their position as well as the government that is forcing equality among the people.
