There were so many acitivities going on during the day for different ages and abilities. There were regular outside free play with the children. Including racing games, den building, scooters and bikes and sandpits. There were different learning acitivites, imaginitive play, creative and construction.

Routine

I worked 9-3 everyday, by 9 the school kids would have been taken to school already so the younger children will start the day by free time outside, after we would have carpet time including sing songs and stories whilst that is going on going on snack time would be prepared, we would then supervise the children as they ate. After another free play would be going on after that the children would be split into two groups of 0-2 and 3- older, where learning activities were taking part. After it would be lunch time again we would prepare by getting each child to wash hands then supervise them whilst they ate. After lunch it would be free time then after that we would have more activites.

Typical day there were things we constantly need to do this included assisting children to the toilet, washing of hands and general cleaning. Snack times and lunch time.Putting kids down for a nap time.

My duties

I was responsible for an actvity where i made cardbaord cutouts of cups of tea as it was mothersday we were decorating them so the children could give it to their mothers. This helped the kids with creativity and recognisation of cutting and sticking, colours and different textures.
