Her parents were Prince Albert, Duke of York, who became King George VI, and his wife Elizabeth, known later as Queen Mother Elizabeth.  
During the World War II Elizabeth puts the uniform to work in Hospital and help people.
After her father died in 1952, Elizabeth became Queen and was crowned at West Minister Abbey on June 2, 1953, but she wasn't happy to take the throne. 
After a journey with her parents, it was announced that she was engaged, then she married and had four children. Queen Elizabeth supported her family in good and bad times. She has the longest reign of the England monarchy, with 69 years of regency.

When the majority of the House of Commons are in favour of a law, it is passed on The House of Lords for approval. The House of Lords is composed by over 1000 members, that aren't elected, but are approved by the Queen.
